Brooke's B-day, our Anniversary, Oasis news, Orlando Prep

There's alot on this one, and some pictures. Today we are flying out to Orlando to start our vacation. Its great because my sister and her husband, who live in Jacksonville, are gonna be there too this weekend! We get to spend a little time with them-bonus! Anyway the bags are packed- not near as full as some previous trips. We don't need as much clothing to go and play for a week as we would for something we would need to dress nicer for.

Brooke's birthday was this week on wednesday, thanks to all you who sent your love to her in one way or another. We started the week with her parents taking us to eat at Red Lobster-B's favorite. Then we went to see the new Star Wars movie. I must say, I'm ready to see the three old ones now-glad we don't have to wait another couple of years for those. So that started the birthday/anniversary/vacation prep week. On monday we went to a baptism of one of our friends in our community group at a creek in austin. That was cool. Then we met up with some old friends at Pok-e-Jo's BBQ. Jonathan, or Noj, and Josh. Check out Jonathans story here. It's amazing. Then on tuesday I threw Brooke a tiny surprise party with her parents, emily, and whitney there. We had a good time. I made her an Italian cream cake in the birthday tradition. I make her cake every year. Then each night we play this new game to us called Farkle. It involves rolling 6 dice and the first to 10,000 wins. Addictive.
