Austin is the capitol city of the best country in the world, Texas. It is the portal to the Texas hill country. Most people who are just passing through don't get to see how pretty it is because they probably just take I-35 through the constant traffic jam. But if you play it right, you can set it up so that you don't have to drive on those crazy busy roads, and just to the west about 5 miles or so is some of the most beautiful country this state has to offer.
